Here are some facts you need to know about Disabled Joshua Makubu who as been appointed regional minister by President Akufo Addo.

In the list released by the government on the appointed ministers he would want to work with in his second term includes Joshua Makubu who is physically challenged.

Though his right leg has been amputated, that hasn’t been an excuse for Joshua Makubu not work. Should the appointment committee of parliament pass Joshua Makubu, he would become the Oti regional minister in President Akufo Addo’s second term of office .

Joshua joined the New Patriotic Party as a supporter but due to his hard work , he is moving to the top.

Date of Birth

Joshua was born on 12 September but his date of birth is yet to be known

Educational Background

Joshua went to EP Senior High School at Saboba in the Northern region of Ghana and proceeded to Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science.
He further pursued a Master of Philosophy in Business Administration at the University of Ghana and is currently pursuing a PhD in Finance at the University of Ghana business school

Politics and career

Joseph Makubu is a teacher and serves as the regional secretary of the New Patriotic Party in the newly created Oti Region.

He has been a strong advocate for persons living with disabilities and on several occasions called for their inclusion in governance.

Joshua Makubu has proved that indeed disability is not inability.

Bravo to President Akufo Addo for running an all inclusive government.
