Forget Stonebwoy & Shatta, There Is No Dancehall Artiste In Ghana – Kelvyn Boy

Fine afrobeat artiste Kelvin Brown has ignited social media with his current comments on real dancehall in Ghana.

The “Ginger” hitmaker was in a radio interview where he disclosed when it comes to dancehall music in Ghana, there is no dancehall artiste here because real dancehall has no other language other than patois.

He further added that per his knowledge, not even his leader and mentor Livingstone Satekla aka Stonebwoy is regarded as a pure dancehall artiste.

“So far as you mix it with twi or a local language, it’s afro-dancehall not pure dancehall”

Looking at what Shatta and Stonebwoy are doing, they are not pure dancehall acts.
