Highlife veteran Gyedu Blay Ambulley has thrown some swipes at dancehall kings, Shatta Wale and his compatriot Stonebwoy.
In an interview on Class FM some few hours ago, while the veteran musician was talking about music originality he asserted that it’s not relevant to be in your home country and be doing someone’s genre of music and be fighting over undeserved titles?
“You are here, you do patois songs which are originally from Jamaica and then you fight over dancehall king. Its not relevant.” Ambulley asserted.
He also added that Bisa Kdei is the only artist who was following the original highlife trend but he has deviated now. On the same show he jabbed MUSIGA, Bessa Simmons, Obuor and others.
